The loot in the console versions of Diablo III might be a little too good, actually. Instead of diablo 3 items keeping you roughly in line with the increase in enemy difficulty, like action RPGs usually try to do, the loot here can put you ahead of the curve by quite a bit. The game dishes out rare and legendary items at a surprisingly brisk clip, and at level 25 of my initial run through on Normal mode I already had legendaries in most of my item slots. And many of those legendaries were found hours earlier that I was still using because they were so darn good. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, however, because the game being easier because of great loot just makes your hunt for even better loot even quicker and easier, which just drives you forward even more. You keep playing because you want to see if the next section's enemies can actually challenge you. And you keep playing because you know that next section's enemies will help you level up and will probably give you even more powerful gear. So you keep going. And going. And going. And then an entire day goes by when you were supposed to be working (like writing a Diablo III review) but you spent the whole day playing it instead.

They expected you to know a fight before even going into it, sure you can watch the videos that are on YouTube or any other video hosting out there and read up on the fights from other sources. But in reality it's about getting in there and actually learning the fights. This guild would single out players that couldn't get out of the fire or whatever in time, they expected the player to be a machine and be perfect all the time. I doubt they even realize that they are human beings and humans make mistakes or aren't even perfect. I got out of that guild when it became apparent to me that it was pretty much all about how popular you were to get into their raids, I'm not the kind of person who would kiss butt to get ahead.

Also, even if people agree that VORCS is the best solo run, the people who are pulling the lowest play times from 1 p100 are all doing it in A1 in a group of very geared and very efficient players. So who you run with is going to change the exp/time of different areas.

I already mentioned the real money auction house but there is also what is called the gold auction house in Diablo3. The cool thing about this is that you don't have to spend tons of money or even buy items off the RMAH to make money. I would recommend that you buy off the gold auction house and sell on the RMAH because the same items cost less to buy when you spend game gold and game gold is cheap.
